I'm in the process of getting recovery bridle for the truck but some are lable as strop and same are labled as a bridle. Can some one enlighten me about the difference if any between the 2.

Bridal usually shorter. For recovery purposes not including a winch forget strips. If your talking winching then strips are a must. If being towed a 24mm 3 strand nylon rope in invaluable 8 meter being most useful as halved it's quite handy to get your angles formtowing right.
