"Yep, simply removed the Becker Sat Nav using removal keys (I modified the ones I had with the Blaupunkt)."
How do I delete this
For the record, here is a video that deals with replacing a similar Becker unit in a mercedes
And it looks like hellfrauds have the correct key
Those keys don't fit you Becker nav unit as far as I know. But you can try the keys, as it looks like it has the slots. I thought only way to remove it is by removing the console first, then unscrew the unit. It's not that difficult to remove the console with just a few screws to remove.
The Becker has a 5 digit code, so LR should have given you 5 digits, not 4.
try putting a zero at the front
Well given that there are only keys 1-7, it will in fact take only 7 attempts..If you enter the 4 digit code you have been given, then you just need to add a 5th digit, start at 1 and work your way through them, at worst it will take 10 attempts.

Try the end and the beginning.Well given that there are only keys 1-7, it will in fact take only 7 attempts..
But do you actually know that I have 4 correct digits and only need a further one on the end?
Or is it the beginning?
I've been back in touch with the dealer and they are contacting LR on my behalf.I don't think the code is in the serial number. I think you quote the serial number when you call the Landrover dealer for the code. Have you tried googling the radio make and serial number? I did this when I had a Rover 45 with no code and Google came up trumps.
