With all the TC and HDC light faults and replacement of brake light switches at our expense. It was interesting to find a recall where LR replace them for nothing !!!

Known fault, new design switch and a recall.

Worth a shout at your dealer if you want one !!

The switch behind the brake pedal ?
The problem is intermittent, once I had the hdc light, never see it again.

Hi,

I have XKB000010 sensor in my car, but there is XKB500120 which need a adapter cable to work YMQ503280.
Which one to get ?

After your post, I checked the brake lights, none where working.

XKB000010 is out of stock.
The replacement one XKB500120 need an auditional cable that cost more than sensor and need to turn it to the right compared to the previous one.
It’s a pain to put it in place.

I opened the faulty brake switch, a small piece of metal was broken.
