my 63 2a ex mill sure aint alloy
they are rotton
my 2a were steel too, been replaced with steel again , but well covered in paint !
how is the rebuild coming along 90.

wer on about plane or boat to NYC then week there and or plane / boat back , so either a flight out then come back on the queen mary 2, now its all changed and were off up to norway and callin in few stops on the way back , all could change tho, bloody wimin

dunno what id like, been put off the idea fer ages by the thort of bein stuck on a boat fer so long, but now wer brakin it up so to say it should be better. father inlaw does one a year and recons 10 days of it and yer gerrin sick of it , just too much food and nothin to do, he keeps goin on them tho
we had a great time on the cruises,there is always plenty to do,on the med one it was different places every morning,plenty of grub if you want to you can stuff yer face for 24 hrs.some of the greedy gits almost did.carribean one was a bit different cos once you have seen one island you have seen them all.

I don't understand you.
Door bottoms rusted out along the top? They usually rust along bottom.
I assume you have spit window frame (aka door tops) from the doors.
Bottom of frames usually rust too. Many people fix a patch to inside of bottom of frame. This is a waste of time. The two bolts that stick out the bottom of the frame project abour 3" to 4" into the frame, and are welded at top and bottom. Thats where the strength comes from.
It is amazing the strength needed to hold a flapping door top closed, at 30mph. Even
1psi over 300 to 400 sq inches is a lot of pressure.
