Rear X Member

i know i need a new rear x member on my s3, i know there is either 8 or 10 bolts that secure it at the back, but can someone tell me if it is welded to the chassis or just the bolts?, ive had a quick look and its hard to say without trying to take it off. i need to know because i cant weld so if welding is needed i will have to get someone to do it.

If you have'nt sourced a rear X member yet give Paddocks a try. They're reasonable on price and they do X members with or without the rear spring hangers depending on your needs.
