I can understand the circuit... The white coming back from the switch is the switched positive, that turns on the relay. Pull back the black sleeving and you should see what colour cable the "hidden" spade connectors are... Looks like the spade connectors, two reds and two blacks, connect to the battery... one pair feed the switch, the other pair feed the relay, which turn on the relay via the white...

edit, as posted, this look like a front light bar loom...
Yes must be Front Loom, wonder if I can chop and turn it round to make it for Rear

Cut the black and white cables, and extend to the rear of the vehicle with some new wire..... buy a cheap terminal crimper, some crimps, and a roll of white and black cable...

That loose wire with a sort of c connector on it is probably mean to be an earth connector. It is designed to be stuck between a bolt and a part of the bodywork.

Where would I cut on Loom ?
Think I've sussed it. Gonna cut between 3 and 4, Then wire 4 and 5 to spots, Number 1 to switch then on to 3 Relay which will be in Engine Bay wired to battery. Then put new wire from end of rear spots 4 leading back to 3 .
If That lot makes sense. So really just making the Harness to fit Rear instead of Front.
Oh and find a bolt to earth the loose c connector along the way.

Cut off the end between 3 and 4. Wired the 2 ends to the spots, they both work as tried them off little battery. Whoever fitted the Spots originally on car has Butchered the panels in both top corners in back, but just fixed them back in best I could.
Anyway the Hardest bit will be coming all the way along the inside of roof through the trim then down through the Bulkhead in to engine bay then to Battery. Is there a knack to doing this?? Will have to be careful with the rest of the trim when I'm feeding wires along .

Why not follow the route from bulkhead down behind the front kick panel then underneath both door tread plates or or even the carpet edge and then up into the boot and to the rear light access panels and then up behind the loudspeaker/s to the roof. 10mins job done :)
Why are u going to the battery? there’s already places in both fuse boxes to pick up a power supply.

Never thought of that Mate, but Ive got no carpets took them out as PO did some serious off roading in water. Just following the instructions to go to Battery , Fuse box would be much easier, as wouldn't have to go through to engine bay.
The harness has a Relay already connected, how do I wire in to Fuse Box ??

Basically tapping into an existing supply that’s live or not or providing a new one from an existing supply.
That depends on the model spec of your D1 and so it’s electrical equipment spec and and it you require and ignition switch controlled, which is most of the circuits, or not to supply the lamps, and the total loading of the lamps that’s important of course then it’s find a circuit that circuit meets the requirements. If an electrical switched factory option is not fitted to your vehicle and the wiring is in place, as it usually is, that may make things simples.
But again most most circuits are ignition switched, if that not required than you’ll have to find the main incoming 12v 60amp supply from the engine bay fuse box like one wire (white or maybe yellow) at the fuse box thats for the ignition switches incoming 12v feed from the battery via the fuse.

All I want is for the 2 spots to be wired straight to switch, Like the Light Bar on front is. Now don't ask me how this light bar is wired as I dont have a clue, tried to follow the wires but cant see where they go, don't want to poke about to much incase I cause a short or something. cant even find if they are on a Relay somewhere or not, but think they should be as it is a very big bar. Which leads me to think that this wiring harness I have seems quite a hefty bit of kit for just 2 spots.

It’s a wiring loom that fits all. :)

Id much rather go straight to fuse box under steering wheel then go through in to engine bay, would make the job so much easier. Will have a good look in daylight tomorrow to see which route to take.

Even if you did install a new 12v fused supply from the + battery terminal, it will only be a single wire which normally would slip down the side of any existing cable that’s through the bulkhead already, so that the supply under the dash, just cut/alter the surplus slack of that new loom. Don’t forget to fit some protection to that new wire in the engine bay.
But at the fuse box where the three main enter the colours are white, yellow and a thin white/red, IIRC the white is a permanent like if I’m wrong then the yellow, so u have permanent live, switched live, and the third position live for starting, they are all together plugged into the fuse board... all depends on the current load of the lamps

Well Finally got it done.
Had to chop the harness up in a couple of places. Just left the Relay and Inline fuse up behind glove box, found a small grommet thingy going in to engine bay so just ran an earth and live to battery. Bit Crude and Untidy but so is everything else by previous owners, Anyway it Works,
Thanks Everyone for help and advice.

Well done, if you need it then a thin split conduit works wonders I’d tidy up wires.
Brilliant photos though, very clear and loads of different colours, what’s the camera and what’s giving the very white light at the front of your disco ?.
