rear window and wiper stopped working

I've already done that continuity on all the cables is fine.
It's just odd the sensors obviously see the door closed as the window goes up, interior light goes out. The demister also works with the door shut.
The window will work fine (after a battery reset) multiple times but as soon as you try to use rear wash button or rear wipe button you get nothing, no wash, no wiper, no window but the window still continues to operate on opening and closing of the tailgate

Strangest combination of rear window events I have heard of!!! I thought I had produced most of them.

Might be cable, might be ccu. I guess you've got to find out what feed to window disappears with fault on.

I'll think some more on this one.

The wiper does nothing at all and the fault appears as soon as you press either the wash button or wipe button. After a battery reset window goes down as expected, I can then operate the window perfectly up and down. It's only when you press wash or wipe nothing happens and now the window stops working too. I'd say one of the buttons if it worked on one for example but neither will work.
It's definitely odd that's for sure and I'm stumped .
I assume when you press just the rear wash button it activates the wiper at the same time?

Where's the CCU located?

For the time being I've actually unplugged the wash and wiper button from the dash to keep atleast the window functional.

Ccu is plugged on back of drivers knee panel fuse box

Problem is the ccu is matched to the key fob code so changing it is a problem.

Is yours a 3 or 5 door as I see the 3 door roof switch is also involved in the window and wiper operation!!

So looking at circuit again and the Rave description, the ccu is looking for wiper motor to run and park before it enables window operation again.

I think as your wiper is not working the ccu gets the wrong feedback from the wiper and decides to disable the window in case the wiper is on the glass. It basically doesn't know where the wiper is.

So, you need to solve the wiper not working. You have changed the motor and switch so it can only be the wiring to the motor relay or the relay. Worth checking the relay first. It is behind the luggage right hand panel. And mounted near the rear suspension strut.

You could listen for a click before removing panel.

Did the rear wiper work when you put the car in reverse with the front wipers on?
Immediately after a battery disconnect and window reset that is.

The wiper switch is directly connected to the ccu so the ccu is looking for wiper operation and park before enabling window operation. I think the problem is that as the wiper doesn't work the ccu sees a request but not the correct feedback so disables window.

In that case the answer to your question should be no!!!

What is the real answer please??

As a side note if I hold the window button all the way up or down it goes all the way up or all the way down, however if I only bring the window half way up and let go of the button it takes it self back down again, is that correct?

Correct. Well that is what mine do!!

I agree but just thought it was worth checking. If the answer was yes then.............

5 door so no roof switch on this one

Relay would be a good about to check, any idea on type and can order one it's an inexpensive thing to change in the hope it resolves it

What was the question lol?

Sounds plausible the previous motor worked though (tested on a 12v battery) so don't think it was a case of the motor starting and then maybe stalling and losing its park position.
Like you say if the CCU is looking for the signal and the relay isn't working it's not getting the return signal.
There wasn't any click or attempt at the motor trying to move or even the washer bottle trying to pump when the buttons were pressed

Yep, mounted on top of the suspension strut. The wiper and window relays are next to each other. They may even be identical so maybe a swap!!??
