rear shocks

hi, i've just cleaned my land rover 110 to day and i noticed that the rear shocks are a bit damp around the edges. so i've decided to replace them with britpart shocks. the front ones look ok, what i want to know is do i replace the springs as well, they look ok but they are original 11 years old and do i replace the front shocks and springs. also which are the best shocks, britpart cellular dynamic shock absorbers, britpart super gaz shock absorbers.
