Hi All,

Does anyone know where to buy these?

Ive found loads of the lower bush' but nothing for the upper. I even called the main dealer  , and they said no...

Thanks

Chris

If the top bush has gone the shock absorber must be well past its sell by date - replace (both) rear shock absorbers, in fact if they have gone do all four. Just one bolt for the top. But remove carefully, no twelve sided sockets. Ease it back and forth on a cracker bar first to remove. To replace, clean up threads, a little copper grease and torque to 125nm. Bottom 45nm.

That explains why I couldn't find any, thanks for the sound advice

Looks a pretty simple job too, which helps!!

Yes, it's not a bad job to do. On Rear, place on axel stands (or jack) remove the wheel (loosen nuts before putting on stands). Do the top bolt first as advised above it will be tight. Remove lower bolt and rubbers - remove shock absorber. Refit is reverse.

ps when undoing the bottom nut the shock absorber will turn to prevent this there is a place (just above the bottom rubbers) to put a spanner on to prevent this.

+ 1 for Druim on the make of Shocks I followed his advice and the results are very pleasing

Ermm??

It's the slippery stuff from a blue can... I have got a tin of plunges knocking around somewhere, figured wd40 was better than nothing overnight :)
