Hi,

I need to replace all my rear seat belts as my tenshioners keep coming on.

Is it one whole unit or are they brought seperatly?? belts and tenshioners??

Does any one know where i can get them from as the landy is due for a MOT soon so need to get them purchased and fitted before then.

I have been to my local T H White and they want loads of money for them and i am not will on paying their prices.:eek::eek:

I think you mean the ratchet mode for securing child seats, they all do it if you pull out the belt too far, that's how you set it in ratchet mode.
Can be a problem if the kids move forward too far then they have to take the belt off to allow it to fully retract and then put it on again.
I doubt all your rear belts have a fault that's just how they are.

when i sit in the back and but the seat belt on it makes the ratchet sound without pulling all the way out. both the sides ones do it. the middle seat belt i had to cut as it got stuck with the seat folded down and could not move the seat back to the up right position,

Seems they are fecked then, usually the rears don't get as much use.
As far as I am aware they are only available from the stealers, second hand units being a gamble I'm not sure I'd be willing to take unless I knew the vehicle they were taken from.

Since they're vehicle specific and there's not a huge market for replacements I imagine the manufacturers only supply to the vehicle manufacturer.
