Rear passengers law????

Had to put my tuppence in. If the lap belt is seated properly below the bump, it's eminently safer for the pregnant lady to wear a seatbelt (ideally a 3 pointer).

To put it bluntly, the baby isn't gonna survive without it's mum. I've seen too many dead on the roads not to advise that. In one case mum survived without belt, but steering wheel impact did for child.

Sorry to be morbid.

My wife (who is the pregnant one) doesn't sit in the middle seat as it is a lapbelt, she drives EVERYWHERE now so she has the three pointer. Maybe people thought I sat her in the back!!!!

Thanks for the pictures by the way!!! (Are the seats able to be "quickly" removed in case of accident?)

I meant if you had an accident/fire how quickly could you get the kids out the back door.

I then realised/saw that you've used quick release straps.

Believe me, if I had to get the kids out in a hurry - I'd tear the seats from their fixings :)

I appreciate it's not ideal - if I wanted to regularly take four people I'd have bought a 110. But for the use it gets, I'm happy that this is a reasonable compromise.

My misunderstanding - I thought she wasn't wearing a belt at all!!
