I've had this fault for a while but haven't had the cohoonas to tackle it.

The rear passenger side window of my 2002 L322 3.0 sometimes descends at random. Usually the drivers controls will command it up again, I think the rear window lock keeps it up, but this doesn’t always work. All the other windows are fine.

Today it went down and refused to budge. I connected the IID and commanded it up, that didn't work. Interestingly the IID will command the drivers side rear window down but the up command doesn’t work, and even more interestingly, using the IID to command the front drivers side window down causes the wipers to go (but not the window)

I reset the body control unit - that didn't work.

Then the rain came on!

What did work was disconnecting the battery for a while and then reconnecting it.

Window is up now and the sun has come out.

Figure that one!

You don't happen to live near a disused graveyard. Just saying.

Not quite, I'm in Northern Ireland so probably it's the ghost of Brexit. You know it don't you?

It's the one that makes the Irish Sea impenetrable to some Mainland GB companies
Aye they drop the ball there. Once labour gets in rest of the UK will be back in EU fully, and you can enjoy spending Euros with your compatriots south of the border. Be interesting being govern by EU parliament and flying the EU flag instead of the Union flag.

Once labour gets in rest of the UK will be back in EU fully on bended knee and contributing billons again, and you can enjoy spending Euros with your compatriots south of the border.
