Disco 2 rear light cracked.

Hi all,

I'm based in Germany. This morning my wife on reversing my 99 TD5 (From new) broke the passenger side (LHD) rear light casing.I cannot believe what a new one costs. €230
Do any other lights fit the TD5?.Unfortunately, the orher side also has a crack in it! €460 plus delivery!

Any helped appreciated

I used red lens repair tape on mine then fitted STC50027 lamp guards and they look like new

As above secondhand. If you really blow up the pics on eBay or wherever you will find that non-cracked ones cost a bit more but nowhere near as much as a new one.

I cannot actually see the damage on that picture!

Yep, just seen it, more or less vertical crack.

I had some hairline cracks in mine, just from age I think, but they were letting in water. I ran some Mr Tolleys Creeping Crack Cure stuff over it and it seems to be doing the job.
