rear light ( bumper ) not working

hello

im having a problem with the rear light passenger side( one in the bumper ) . the brake light works but is very dull . the light its self doesnt work when lights are on . the bulb is fine as ive tried it in other side and its very bright for the brake and the light . ive traced the wires up to the earth point in the boot and no sign of anything untoward.

If the brake light is dull it's worth checking that it's the right bulb for it, if so then start by cleaning all the contacts on the earth side as well as the positive side.

yeah bulb is correct one as it works fine in the other side next job is to try cleaning contacts

I'm not very good with electrics is that easy to do and how do I do that ? Cheers

The earth is the KEY wire as it handles the return current for all the bulbs. Not sure what colour, but it is probably black and if you look at the bulb holder assembly, the earth goes to each bulb. Check it's connection to each bulb and also to the connector.
