Bit of a strange one, hoping somebody may have had this problem before!
Came downstairs the other morning, was around 6am and noticed some red flashing lights through the window! I thought what's that so went to investigate and it was my P38 Range Rover (its a V8 97MY if that helps), both the rear fog lights were flashing away. I went outside and noticed the rear fog light switch on the dash was also flickering!
No other faults, it unlocks and locks fine, starts without a problem and no other lights were on/flashing at the time only the rear fogs!
I started the engine and left it running for 20 mins, locked it back up and haven't noticed it happen again but obviously I am not looking at the car 24/7 so I am sure it will come back at some stage.
Checked the connectors in the A post as I always hear people say check them for water ingress, no problem with them bone dry. I then quickly lifted the front seat as not a big job so that I could make sure it was dry down there and that the BECM was not swimming in water! No water ingress so thats a good thing but stumped with what would cause this problem?
Anybody got any thoughts and even better anyone had this problem before and found what the root cause was?
Thanks
