Rear Electric Windows Problem..

Good Evening All....

Just bought our first Land Rover - 1998 Disco 2.8 TDI SE and everything seems fine except for the following....

Both the rear electric windows will not open/close using the switch on the doors. However using the switches on front panel near the gearstick operate both the windows fine..

Bit puzzled but im glad the motors aren't bust..

Can anyone help please...

Sounds like the previous owner cut them off to stop his kids playing with them!!!

I would pop the switches out and run a multimeter across the connections.
