Rear door stay

Hi,

I've just ordered & received a rear door stay to prevent it from opening too wide. I can see a runner where one end of the thing needs to fit but don't appear to have a bracket to mount the thing on inside the tub.

Has anyone got a photo of how this should be mounted / look please?

Mine's just attached to a bolt through the floor panel - I think this is the official method. From top to bottom, bolt (head at top), washer, stay, washer, nut, washer, floor panel, washer, spring washer, nut.

Thanks - that sounds straight forward. I looked at my front doors and wondered if there should be a similar bracket or something.

Would have thought original spec would have been length of bale string to bulkhead

Yes but it must be Massey Harris band and not an inferior copy

There's a bracket fits on the bulkhead for the front door stays. Have a look in the parts book.

Thanks, I'll take a look. Might be an option to fit one in the back.
