Dunno if we are getting a pic with that? But I would guess the answer is no! And having the wheel on the bonnet is a bit of a pain, but each to their own.

I like the spare on the bonnet but a rear door mount will lift it higher than necessary a look a bit sh1te

My bonnet dish had a hole on one of the pegs to put a padlock thorough, which a door carrier doesn't!
Still took it off and binned it though!

I'm 6'4" I can see fine over the top of I do put it there. It's bugging the crap out of me on the rear door plus I need the realestate there to put advertising. Maybe I chould shove it up on a roof cage?

The options have been done to death on here - have a search. It can break bonnet frames/hinges, especially on rough roads. Putting it on the roof is a massive pain if you ever need it - they will bounce and roll quite a distance if dropped (been there). If you have to have it off the rear door, inside would be my first choice, followed by a reinforced bonnet mount, and beefed up bonnet frame.

I am tall too, but the wheel does tend to block vision just where you want it when picking your way over tough terrain. Also you will have to heave it up every time you want to check oil etc. And you cant lay the bonnet right back on the windscreen to perform minor repairs.
+1 Against the interior bulkhead is the way I go. Weight is fairly low, very central, and the wheel is clean and dry if you have to change at the roadside!

I can't keep it inside, my 110 is full of coffee machine, fridge and grinder etc. I don't really do any significant offroading, just on a beach where I trade coffee which is flat and across fields, again to serve coffee. The coffee machine doesn't like being roughed up too much so I keep things very calm. Can you see ok if it is on the bonnet for normal road driving?

Hah, I'm on Polzeath beach. An Americano is a black coffee by the way.There's a discount to Landy Zone members, password, Landy Zone! I've just finished the conversion and I'll post pics, it was bloody hard work and a steep learning curve but we did a nice job. There's some snagging to do but she looks cool and works well.

If you're being gentle enough to look after a coffee machine, probably not. A few different types on the market - haven't seen one that fits a puma/tcdi yet. Some don't take alloy wheels either. Craddocks sell a fairly solid looking kit.

I'm there if it's sunny during the week, but from now on mostly weekends, again only if it's sunny. I'm right on the beach, near the terraced steps at New Polzeath, white 110. Come and have a chat.

Couldn't you get a wheel cover printed up to suit your advertising needs, and leave it on the back door?
I fitted a bonnet mount on my 200TDi a while ago, and the kit came with reinforcing braces that were riveted to the existing frame... considered this for my current TD5, but there's not a kit for this... apparantly some issues with clearance on this motor? Have now got a swingaway carrier, and happy with that

Yeah I considered that option too. Trouble is the swing aways are bloody pricey. Does the swing away attach to the body of the vehicle? i haven't looked very closely at any pics to be honest. Also, does it stay where it is when the door is open?

Bit of drilling required for swingaway mounts on bodywork...mines quite a tight fit, but it opens and shuts with the door easy peasy. Hopefully this door will last longer!
I fitted the swing away to mine also recently ..after a lot of deliberation of rear or bonnet .. best mod ever done door is a lot happier I also fitted the door strut kit too so I no longer have the door bashing me either .. I know it's pricy but well worth it .. they come with finish options, i had mine galvanised for an extra few quid and it came with grease nipples on all the joints .. instructions went great but unless your a complete mong it is pretty much self explanatory
