Rear door regulator

is it common for the above to go wrong my glass is not dropping when i use the handel or use the botton insde the car .
the micro switch i have checked as i have the hard tiop model .
have taken the back door to bits there just seems to be a problem with the regulator i think what do youm think.
It does not work with the key either.i just here 2 short bleeps when i press the switch in the car.
No heated rear window also rear wiper are they all conected.

Hi Ken, did you get any replies to your problem, as I am now getting the exact same problem.
Mechanic told me the regulators are common to go, and are very expensive to fix.

i did but still dont work just do a search . i tried taking off the battery .My window goes up and down from the switch in the side but its in reverse ie when i press up it goes down.

If i put it down and then open the rear door the window comes up about a 1/4 inch when i shut the door it goes down .It confused and i think its the regulator.
