Rear Diff compatability

I have an '05 TD4 Freelander 1. The rear diff is howling like a banshee and the rear diff is the culprit. If I was to buy another from a breakers, what ages of car can I get it from if they don't have one from an '05?

Any will work. Carrier bearings were uprated in 2000, but the early ones will still work fine
