Rear Brake Disc Shield

Hello,
Could anyone advise how the rear brake disc shield is fitted on a 300tdi axle, i.e. is it fitted along with the stub axle?

90 or 110 ,though neither are fitted with the stub, thery fit on the axle side

It is a 90, I have a new rear axle casing, to which I am now building all the various components on to it, starting with stub axles on either side. Is the brake shield completely separate to all the other parts or does it go into the sequence of part after part, i.e. gasket--stub axle--stub axle locking plate--hub assembly?

the mudshield is held on by this bracket and a nut bolt through lower shocker mount,bracket secures to caliper bolts on outer side not between caliper and axle bracket
