So, when i first got my truck, the rear bags were perished. i bought 2 new ones and attempted to fit these. I had never done it before but with the guide from Datatak i set about doing it. All went well for the first one but as i started the second one, i put the top clip in place to hold the bag and i got my other half to turn on the ignition to try to put some air into it as i just couldnt get the bottom to locate properly. Anyway started her up...BANG... popped off the bottom plastic part.
Seriously cheesed off so bought another one and fitted that. Now i have a spare bag and i have managed to get the cap back on as it just seems to sit in place. However, i just cannot seem to get it to push down inside itself if you get what i mean. Its fully extended and when i got it, it was compressed.
Am i wasting my time?

You should have expanded it slowly with an air line. If you use the car system air inlet is sudden. It is still useable but it needs to be held between two immovable objects rather like the upper and lower mounts on the car about half it's length apart and a little air introduced for it to refold.

i did the same thing mate popt an air bag of and i just popt it back on , i just lowered the body down a little leaving anuf room for the bag to inflate and it took ages to inflate, about 10 bloody mins.i fixt all me air leaks, sprayed soapy water over every joint etc, replaced the air dryer with a new one and new compressor filter aswell and me suspension is fantastic now.
