If tis just the alt belt yes but not if tis tother one that runs waterpump and pas

Be sure
The larger longer belt that runs off the back of the fan runs the water pump and pas.......the pas has a double pulley off which runs a shorter narrower belt to the alternator.....
Do not run without a belt to the water pump!!

Mine slightly different l. Long belt to pas and alternator and is long. Short belt has only PAS. Can I do 10 miles without water pump?

I hope not......I drove it 1/2 mile to a private car park...somewhere out of the way anyway!.....I hope I havent cooked it doing that
Need to find the correct belt somewhere in Harrogate tomorrow!
If anyone has one I will pay cash or replace when I get chance??
BTW it is a defender genuine 200tdi not a Disco one.

Yes, am googling now for one just in case I cant find a proper one, so I can drive it the 15 miles home, where I can tuck him in safe!

My ignorance shows again MHM, I do not require the LZIR as I caught a taxi....am thinking the belt must be in stock in local Land rover stealer so will use the wifes car tomorrow to go and fetch one

Aux belts definitely come in the catagory of 'when you need one buy two'......and throw the spare in the back

as your description above is not my set up....
