hi all,

i have a 4.6 p38 when i superlock after a few hours all my indicators come on and stay on draining my battery ?

i have disconnected my alarm system thinking it was something to do with that but its still the same. Any Ideas ? all systems work fine during driving, no problems, nothing is on the message display when this happens

Hi my 1996 2.5 DSE does a similar thing - sometimes I go out to find the indicator lights lit up and a flat battery - Have you had any luck in sorting it?

Also Mine has started to lock itself at night- when I go to it in trhe morning and unlock it the dash says the alarm has been triggered - anything like this happen with yours?

Start with checking your battery voltage. It doesnt take much of a drop in voltage for strange things to start happening. Next look at the main fuse box in the engine compartment. A little corrosion in here can also cause big problems. Its recommended that these are changed after 5 or 6 years.

Thanks Rewmer - The batt should be OK as it was new at the end of January - following a full front end rebuild by a body shop following an RTA
in which the old batt was squashed a little.
These probs actually started a week after I got it back from the body shop - they took it back checked it out and found nothing wrong. It seems to play up on Thursday or friday nights - weird or what?
