so am i right or wrong in saying if i was using rave 01 then i wanted to use rave 02 i would need to unmount rave 01 first ?
I'm having difficulty working out what you mean by "unmount it"
I have all three versions of RAVE installed on my PC. OK, it is running Win 7, but just as a check, I have installed it quite satisfactorally on a Windows 10 machine.
If I wish to open the RAVE for the Disco, then I have to close whichever other RAVE is open, in other words
I can only open one RAVE at a time. I don't have to uninstall or remove any version, just close one and open another.
As you open one version it will put its own start icon on the desktop. So after opening and closing each version in turn you'll end up with three RAVE icons. These icons are the ones you double click in future to start the program.
As I've already said, if you don't like them on the desktop, then the thing to do is to
COPY them into a nice folder wherever you want then rename them to whatever you want in there, and then
HIDE, not delete the ones on the desktop. RAVE will check if there are icons in place on the desktop and write them if they are missing, but it doesn't know whether you've hidden them or not.
