You have to take the gearbox out to change the slave on a TD4, it may be cheap but its a big job. ...and while you're at it you may as well change the clutch, and people always replace the flywheel with the clutch these days, turns out not so cheap either. Are you losing fluid? If yes where’s the puddle?
Slave cylinder only has 1 pipe,if it’s not working surely you would get fluid out. You may need to just pull off the rubber gaitor to check.
Master if it leaks usually just leaks back to tank, not always.
It could be a mix of both, remove pipe from master and plug it,hows the pedal now? (Not that simple in practice but if you understand the workings it’s easy)
Not really expensive parts, replace both anyway and have done with it?
Not a freelander eggsquirt but.
Get in amongst it and look.
3 door models without roof rails look pants I recon. It needs the rails.I don’t know why, but my pre-facelift looks better for me.
Once you get some rails on it like the grey one you'll like it.... but the grey one has a strange front bumper is that a common where you are?I don’t know why, but my pre-facelift looks better for me.
What is strange about it?Once you get some rails on it like the grey one you'll like it.... but the grey one has a strange front bumper is that a common where you are?
