Morning Folks,
Does anyone have a clue what these fault codes are, Ox350580 something to do with glow plug monitoring, and Ox161301 cylinder imbalance i componant outside of tolerance? they come up both on my i carsoft and autel diagnostics, its a 2006 l322 TD6 straight six BMW engine, any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Morning, the td6 has a module that controls the glow plugs theses are known to fail and are normally changed along with the plugs as matter of course. Your glow plugs can be checked for resistance also and to see if there is a 12v feed when the key is turned when the engine is cold.
If there is 12v to the glow plugs the control module works, if not its pooped and needs to have the connections checked in addition.
If you have one or more glow plug below or higher than the rest in resistance then change them all at the same time. ;)

It's below the coolant pipe connector below the inlet manifold. Above the engine mounting iirc....
