Im moving closer to your house. I'd have moved closer to @holidaychicken but it would have cost me more than £4k in dresses, high heels and gaffer tape, so false economy
I’ll put the kettle on
Suppose I’ll have to cook dinner as well , lol

Maybe ........How old is that vehicle? Why is it in such a corroded state?

Rust comes as standard on the newer RR's, just like the Classic & Defender. The P38 seems to be an aberration as underneath they seem to stay reasonably rust free. How old is that vehicle? Why is it in such a corroded state?
Is it the steel they are using and its Chinesium/Indianium content rather than good old South Wales/Corby Steel perhaps?Rust comes as standard on the newer RR's, just like the Classic & Defender. The P38 seems to be an aberration as underneath they seem to stay reasonably rust free.
Corby steel rusts just as well as Chinese or Indian. Long before Chinese or Indian steel came on the market, BMC were producing rust buckets from British steel. It's all down to how the steel is treated to prevent rust during and after production. Is it the steel they are using and its Chinesium/Indianium content rather than good old South Wales/Corby Steel perhaps?
Ahhhhh.... so it must be intrinsic in the design to have "in-built obsolescence" so that MORE cars are required in a shorter time-frame.Corby steel rusts just as well as Chinese or Indian. Planned obsolescence, something else to thank the Yanks for as it was they who introduced the concept.Ahhhhh.... so it must be intrinsic in the design to have "in-built obsolescence" so that MORE cars are required in a shorter time-frame.
We can't have vehicles actually lasting 40+ years now can we? A bold plan to boost the economy indeed.
I wonder why the P38 is so blessed? Not that I am complaining of course.Planned obsolescence, something else to thank the Yanks for as it was they who introduced the concept.
Cars can be made to last, usually by accident, wife's Renault 11 is 34 years old and fairly rust free. My MR2 is also rust free, but that is due to extensive anti rust treatment before the rot set in.
Wow good jobComparison between old and new
Put a few coats of dinitrol on the new arm before fitting

It would cost you more than that L405 you are leaning towards by the time you had paid the fees for my entourage but if you want to get your people to talk to my people I’m sure we can work something out. People sounds a lot like peep hole I have just realised but for legal reasons I request you neither acknowledge nor respond to that observation.Im moving closer to your house.
