Already been in contact with them.
That is the site that bumped up the cost by several hundred pounds.

Blimey , haven’t they heard of the internet to check prices, lol
Ps, have u looked at laser tools
Wow, you’ve put some work in there, top job mate and hats off to u, thks for sharing the pics
That’s a very small collection of images!
I have some whereby you can just about make out the Garage! It’s in there somewhere!
Another thing is those cam timing chains / tensioner I believe
Keep up the good work and do enjoy a good engineering thread
What makes it worse is the fact that I provided the official Bosch website images with pricing?!
Ridiculous!
I have checked out all sites without success. There is a German Company that sell aftermarket parts but even the price for that comes in at over the price listed by Bosch!
Oh to be VAT registered!
Sounds about right , but in fairness can u take it up with the manager
U might like this pic, only a few components in these engines, lol
Plus pic of my mine, just finished spraying the scuttle panel and A pillar trims

No matter the cost! And bare skinned knuckles!
Indeed, done a serious amount of work with mine, suspensions, interior , airbags
Oh and @£@#@&&@ wishbone replacements , what a job they are to do
Is my first D3 and adore the thing , can’t get over how nice they drive

Its a very addictive passion! I must admit there have been a few occasions when I have nearly taken a blow torch to the Sport!

Just out of curiosity why do you need to be VAT reg?
Don’t you know a friendly garage or have a friend who owns there own business?
J
Seeing those pics, reminds me I’ve got to fit my new AC condenser
I’m self employed as a Vehicle Air Conditioning Specialist although not VAT registered.
I spend my time doing everything to assist my customers with a cracking service that is second to none!
I undertake work for dealerships, garages etc believing I am giving them a true honest and highly competitive service however, I have approached a few who appear to be none participating and unhelpful to be honest.
If the offer is not there, I will not beg for it.
I have been left somewhat disappointed by the lack of help.
Unfortunately, it’s the times we live in I’m afraid.
