Evening everyone
A strange potential request...
My RRC has been beautifully and expensively repainted in the last couple of years, but for reasons unknown, when the car was painted by the previous owner, the tailgate and bonnet 'Range Rover' script were refitted to the car before a top coat of lacquer was applied on top - words fail me.
This lettering has now bubbled up and needs to be replaced; trouble is, because of the bodgery with the lacquer, what should have been a very simple job means that removal might now damage the paint, unless we get busy with an artists' blade, which might still make a mess, especially if I fit original specification badges that are the same size as currently fitted.
I'm wondering if the modern Range Rover script fitted to more recent models is the same size - if it's a tiny bit bigger, this might be the solution, assuming the font is authentic, as they could sit over the original script location, but cover up any potential damage to the lacquer.
Any thoughts?
