Hi all. I've not long bought a td6 Range Rover ..... Yesterday my lower intercooler hose popped off. A proper pain to get to it especially in this nasty weather laying in the road. ....but got in there to find that the hose going from turbo to intercooler has come off. It's fitted buy quick release clips... These have rusted through ...nooooo. So a quick call to Land Rover I find out that they don't sell the clips, just the whole pipe at £157 plus vat....

My pipe is fine....does any one have a source for these clips?

I really don't want to pay stupid money for a metal wire clip....

Cheers

Just buy some stainless jubilee clips.

An update. It seems no one sells these clips. It looks like make your own or stump up a huge amount of dosh!!!!

try this-living3000.co.uk hose+clip
leftover stock in 2000 stores,-don't know how to do links yet, hope it helps

Thanks td5nut. I'm now on page 23 of 100 lol. Got my work cut out. I will maybe dig out a picture of what this clip looks like. It really can't be only available with the whole hose....

done that mate..... one of the first things i tried..... now banging my head against a stone wall it seems. i have made a clip for now but wont last forever.... its looking more and more likely that i will have to pay land rover what they want for a complete hose. the other side clip is rotting as well so looks like i will end up loosing loads of dosh for the sake of a few pounds worth of clips

it sure is mate but starting to get used to it with the rangie. they ttreid to tell me that i had to buy a whole new wiper arm when the plastic clip broke on the end when changing blades.... £57 plus vat.

did some home work and bought the clip for £6

so it is possible, its just not many have bothered to put the info online it seems

I know this is quite an old post now, but the same thing happened with my 2006 L322 TD6. I called Land Rover and BMW and both would only sell me the entire pipe. I didn't even bother asking for a price for that. Then I found a clip for 2.70 at Onebuy.com. I ordered two clips and they were send from County Armagh and they worked perfectly. Genuine BMW part too! Don't know how to do links, but if you paste this into your browser you'll see them:
