So took it out on Friday for an hour, came back and filled it up with fresh v power diesel ( was still about 1/4tank) still black smoke
Took it to Crawley and back today and just gentle acceleration and there's loads of black smoke (but sometimes there's none)
I had a look under the bonnet and couldn't see any split pipes (not 100% sure on where I'm looking)

Any other input?

So had a feel today and hurrah found a 2"split in the right side pipe
So I now have a couple of questions pls
The right pipe was really soft but split
The left pipe is almost rock hard
shall I replace both?
They look fairly easy to fit, are they (im OK with a spanner)
OEM or brit part?

I would examine the other pipe as best as possible and decide from there. I not sure if there are silicone versions of these yet?
your call based on your findings.;)

are they all supplied by the part of brit?

I'm gonna replace both just as a precaution, will get ahold of the local landy specialist tomorrow and hopefully pick them up
