I am considering buying a range rover with a fairly thrashed/knackered engine, its a 4l and I would like to drop a diesel in, how easy is it to come by an engine and how is it to fit? Its the latest model RR.

Do you mean an L322 RR - ie 2002 on ? Or an Lp - 1995-2002 ?

It's possible,but unless you were virtually given a petol and a diesel car it's never worth the effort - I'd just buy a diesel car in the first place.
