Range Rover Engine Imobilised

Can anyone help me I have just acquired a 1996 range rover however the battery has gone flat and when i recharged its now saying the engine is immobilised. I do not have an owners manual is there anyone who can advise me how i can start the car Thank you

You need to resynce your key fob, welcome to the mad house

Thanks. I know I probably sound a bit thick but I know nothing about cars. can you tell me how I resynce the key
