Can anyone advise on the best way to remove a Range Rover rear door 'bump' trim.
I have ordered a replacement for a damaged one and I am advised that it sticks on and is held on with one bolt through rear end of door.Is this correct. What is best way to remove old trim without damaging paintwork ie what best releases the adhesive strip if this is the means of fixing or will it just peel off with sufficient force?

Can't advise directly on your particular issue, but all adhesives give in easier if it's warm.

So choose a sunny day, park the car door in the sun, it will work loose easier.

Or use a hairdyer to warm the trim.

Thanks .
Hopefully the sun will be shining this weekend. Any ideas if the trim is stuck on or not? Sounds possible to me.
