I’m looking to put a cooler into the cubby box of my Land Rover defender.

We use the vehicle as a camper - would be handy to have a cool box for perishables etc but I don’t want to put a fridge in the back as this is already kitted out for storage, water tank etc.

The cooler from a Range Rover seems a reasonable option, loads second hand off eBay for not much money.

Does anyone have one in their Range Rover? What are they like, do a reasonable job of keeping stuff cold? Are they suitable to be left running overnight or for a few days? What volume are they?

thanks!

I thought they ran of the air con, from what I remember of my mates sport they are small get a couple of cans in there and not much else .

They are small for sure, but might be a handy idea as i think the unit will fit in my existing cubby and I don't have space in the back. As long as it can hold a can of punk IPA and a pack of bacon I can make it work
