Hi guys. I have a C reg 90 which I am gonna pull the roof off and buy sticks and a canvas for. It may seem a daft question but what happens to my seat belts. The bit they attach to is the roof so do I buy new seat belts??

Also I would be greatful for any tips before I pull my roof off before I do something stupid.

1. You can buy seat belts that fit to the body behind you.

2. Try and resist the urge to do anything stupid.

Got an ex-mod roll bar on the 90 (works as part of the soft top frame as well) They have the brackets for a seatbelt on as standard. On my series 3 i just bolted the top bracket to the bulkhead along with some good sized spreader plates but it's not as safe/comfortable

And buy a proper chassis mounted roll hoop or even a cage, seen a soft top 90 rolled at 25mph...not pretty but it fits into multi-story car parks easily now!
