Radio has power but no sound

Bought a d2 from auction with no radio installed,I’ve just bought a replacement from Amazon, it powers up but I’m not getting any noise at all from the speakers, looking for any advice that would help thanks
 
It can be due several reasons. Do you have the proper wiring harness? Is the new radio wired properly to the Amp? Cell phone mute can cause issues, as well. Google is your friend in this case.

Also, D2 loudspeakers are are driven from a separate amplifier… model dependant I believe, therefore your new head unit requires an output for the amp from it, and then suitably adjusted to match the amp, if you head unit has the facility that is and also compatible.
A genuine LR head unit for your model of D2 should be plug n play, if the wiring existing wiring hasn’t been interfered with that is.
 
Does it have the roof mounted DVD? If so, the audio from that may be selected. There's a button on the player that toggles between the sound sources.
