Radio display faulty

Hi everyone have a 97 hse p38 the radio display has just gone weird cant read a thing - is it curable or just ignorable

I've recently bought a '95 2.5 DSE with a 6 CD stack in the boot. The radio display backlight works, but no characters. The previous owner had the Range Rover for 5 years and said he could never remember it being any different.
I'm going to take it out and have a look soon. I'll let you know if I find anything.

try killing the power to it, it may reset!! prob a fuse you can pull to kill the constant supply rather than disconnect the battery and have to reset the windows, sunroof etc............think it could be fuse No 1 or 8.....check ya owners manual to confirm it.....

I've known a few go this way and there is a repair for it via ebay.I think its around £85 to repair your unit.

Common fault on the Diversity radio. Roverville will charge around £90 + post to repair it and service the unit. They are very highly recommended
