hi can anyone out there help i have replaced a cv joint but still have severe clunking from front end when under pressure up hill otherwise everything ok could it be the hub as well gone i would be gratful for help thanks

If it's a P38 as Buster says,

jack it up and see if there's any play on the front wheels.

probably front bottom arm ball joint, a known bad thing.
