after nearly a year of battery drain problems, testing various things to try and solve the problem i finally sorted it.
only found it cos i had to change a brake light bulb, when i removed the cover for the light in the load space there were all the connections for the aftermarket tow bar that the previous owner had installed, and stareing me in the face was the relay pack for the split charge socket sporting a load of corroded terminals so i removed the inline fuse for it.
that was 3 weeks ago and the battery is still fully charged and she starts at the turn of the key even when left parked up on the drive all week
so i guess i can put that box of matches back in the draw!
