Question about Lightweight Chassis

Haha, a 3.5V8 will be easier to fit though, I had a 4.0V8 Series 2 Disco ES 2 year ago, the power for an off roader is the best.

it was more of an aside, I think a v12 disco would be fun.

but having said that a v12 lightweight would be scary fun :D in a trousers filling rapidly way

Well, I dont actually know what cc it is but just arranged with the guy about getting the series 2 off him it is on classic RR chassis with petrol engine, think he said it was 1971 RR so any idea what petrol engine they had? there is even a brand new ported head still sealed in the box from Turner Engineers with it :)

if its a 71 rr then that would be tax free anyway, wonder if one could argue that modifying a tax free vehicle with bits off another tax free vehicle would make the points system unnecessary

providing the identity of both vehicles is not retained of course

Ah I see, didn't realise V8 was only Petrol engine then.

It must be a 2 1/4 Petrol from the Series 2 then, thats good news then
