The good news it all went well with the start up yesterday with the new cam and other essentials. Now I need the fuel trim resetting. Is it a test book case?

The adaptive values can be reset easily and quickly with Faultmate/Autologic or Test Book.

Alternatively, the system will relearn the new values itself over about 100 miles.
All a reset does is returns all the settings to a default (As new) value and it still takes a few miles driving for the values to adjust themselves to the optimum.
If you do not have access to the diagnostics, don't worry about it.:)

Hi, when I recently done my valley gasket and changed a few parts it ran like a bag of ****e at first, on start up it struggled to tick over and started not as good as before but after a few short runs and start ups it is back to normal.:D:D
