Ok then, without the aid of nanocom, for the want of money!!
I had gone out the next morning after doing the pump top seals.
The acceleration was flat as füuuuu...
I had to floor the pedal to move away from the junction...
Brilliant
. Pulled it back into my garage.
Stripped of the flipping manifold again...
Loosened the lower pump set screws (just)
and nudged the cap rearward just to the point where the engine stumbles and tapped it forward a touch. Runs brilliantly.
Previously I thought my torque converter was slipping excessively.. probably.. starts very well and responds brilliantly to the pedal
As much as I wish I had the nanocom kit, that's not possible at the moment.
House, Wife, 3 kids, dogs, cars... You understand.
It's the best I've ever known the bus to drive.
193.000 plus miles.
So a small collection of tools, a dti gauge and a febi timing chain kit with guides much needed.
