How's your shares in protectivemasksdirect doing mate.
I'm hoping they might skyrocket. It is the 3M 8835 which is the important but. The elastic is a whole load better than most and it has a soft seal all around the edge plus an exhaust valve to make breathing easier - important if you're wearing for long periods. Those little surgical masks are way better than nothing (10 times say) but FFP2 is 25 times better than them and FFP3 is a step up again.

thanks you two, apparently it eases after two or three days.
My boss said it was like flu for 4 days and since then just like a cold. He's working but from home as still testing positive.

No way of knowing that as many with the Omicron variant unvaccinated have found it no worse than a bad cold and many experts say that vaccination offers no protection. Judging by the numbers of vaccinated and re-infected going down with Omicron that could just be true.Count your self lucky mate if you hadn't been vaccinated you could be in hospital on a ventilator

But the majority of patients in hospital on ventilators are unvaccinated.

That is true but it does not take into account any comorbidities. A London ICU doctor claimed the majority of the patients in ICU had comorbidities.

Quite right,the eldest daughter's friend's 18 year old so was admitted and put in ICU ,not Covid related but managed to get an intestinal infection and Covid. He never recovered.

He has kids. They all bring it back from school. My kid is home-schooled and we don't see many people.
