Puma TDCi - no revs after near stall

Hi, not sure if this a common problem or not...

I haven't had my puma too long, and if I set off and nearly stall it from stand still (on the rare occasion), the engine fails to rev up and let me set off again. I can sit there for a good 10 / 15 seconds again until it eventually revs normally?!?!

Any advice would be much appreciated...

Any fault codes? getting them would be a good starting point. And check for loose / chafed wires at the accelerator pedal position sensor.

No fault codes reported - my mechanic did a scan couple of weeks ago as the ABS light stays on until you move forwards as it was flagged up on the MOT...
