Puma clutch???? On/Running!no gears Off/all gears!

Got the landy off the ground. Selector won’t go into any gear with the engine running. When engine off, selector finds all the gears. Could this be the clutch?? As I posted earlier, it stalled violently at a junction and lost all gear selection. Cheers

If you put it in gear, can you put your foot on the clutch and start the engine, without lurching forwards ?

i had this a spring had dropped out of clutch plate
