I have ummed-and-arred about whether to pull my new (autosparks) loom through the chassis or use conduit outside the chassis - and am leaning towards the former. However, this presents a few questions
1) direction: i am inclined to pull it from the back to the front
- the connectors at the back are double ones (for onward connection to a towbar) and together they present a sizable profile that i think would be very difficult to thread down and out the chassis.
- So i think i need to bind up the block connectors at the front, and pull them through from the back
2) grommets: regardless of direction, i can't believe the grommets can be pulled through. At the moment they are in place on the loom. I am thinking i cut a line from centre to edge on the grommets a) to remove them b) and to reapply once the cable is in place
any advice?
