I'm taking it that you've got yerself a landcruiser?
I dunno about the later ones but the early ones need a new axle when the swivels fook up cos they is welded rather than bolted to the end of the axle. They do pull well though.
Why the change of vehicle?
A. coz of pullin power
B. Coz toyoto club dont have names like Ratty or dirty gertie

i had toyota hilux with 3.0 td not the 2.4 td that eats gaskets,
more to the point it had 48kmiles on it when the rear axle bust and the chassis cracked round the mid body mount.
went and got an old rangie,sorted.
the disco/rangie chassis will beat the toybota any day,tried and tested.
when ya pull tree with the hilux they break.end of.
