Not sure about the bearings easy to find out with the bearing numbers but looking at the pics
These are the least of your worries
Mine was like that for 6 months I done a full rebuild in that time including a re-spray.:D
Then the misses seen I was having a great time & decided that it was time I finished the house.

The chassis looks decent though.
Ah, I've done work on the house first :D
Considering its age the chassis is good. I've got a set of series 2a bearings already and they look different to me. I was going to get the bulkhead galvanised as well as the chassis but I can't be bothered now  I'll just be putting it all back together and painted with por15 then dinitrol

Really?? after stripping it down to that state are you keeping it or selling it once its done.
If I was doing another full build id get everything galvi dipped. :)

I've got no way to get it to the galvanisers
Dunno if I'm selling it or keeping it fors and againsts for both....

Lz courier service or rent a car transporter trailer they cost about 40 or 50 quid a day, well worth getting
it galvanised it will be more desirable if you do come to sell it & if you keep it you wont need to reweld it
in 5 years time. :)

Shame I though I was going to see a cracking rebuild :(
It's rock solid and 56 years old, might see about the bulkhead though cos I sand blasted that in 2017 anorl
